Releasing Your Past -- Accepting Your Light

A Message from the Christos

At the beginning of the channeling Linda indicated that she felt the Christos energy coming through. We call the “Christos” the divine Light from Source that has been present since the beginning of creation. In other cultural traditions this Light may be called by other names, such as Brahma or the Buddhic Ray. By choosing the name Christos we are not implying that Christianity is superior to any of the other traditions that concern themselves with the Light from Source.

Understand, beloved children, whatever frequency you have chosen to connect with on the human plane at this time -- that you have requested to come through Leia to speak with you -- is an energy that you have always known. It is an energy with which you have always been connected and an energy that has spoken directly to you before. You are connected to that which you may call the Light of the Christos not only in this moment. It is a simply a request that you have made that we come through Leia at this time.

We use the term “we” to describe this energy because it is not singular in nature. It is not separated from anything. It is all and everything. As we speak through Leia, that is the way we can describe ourselves.

If you look at the sky, at the sun, at the moon, at the stars, if you look out upon the land that you have and the beautiful things that grow upon your land, and even as you look within this abode, if you look around this space in which you sit, what are you sitting on? What is beneath your feet? What have you just eaten? All of these things of which we speak carry the Light of this Christos. This beneficent loving Light is in everything in Creation. All is composed of the energy of the Light of the Christos.

If you choose to extrapolate from that which we have just said, then you who are sitting in these chairs must also be completely composed of the energy of the Christos. Why would this Light be in the stone on the land but not in you? Indeed, what would stop this energy from being in you? Paradoxically, if you observe your trees and your plants, you can say, Ah Yes! I see this wonderful energy in the trees, in the leaves, and I can call it the Light of the Christos -- but I cannot feel it and know it in myself!

Only one thing can stop you from allowing this energy to flow through you unencumbered. One thing only. It is your conscious human mind.

We would ask you, beloved friends, would you consider a simple exercise? Would you consider allowing this Light to be a conscious awareness in this moment? A part of your mind may say, Yes, but… Yes, I would like to do this, but I cannot. There may be an energy that wishes to stop the conscious awareness of this wondrous Light with thoughts such as, “I cannot completely accept that I am the Light of the Christos because I have done terrible things, I have made terrible mistakes, I have caused others to suffer, and I am suffering. I am afraid of what tomorrow will bring. I carry great pain because of yesterday or even today. And because I have carried this pain, I cannot trust myself, I cannot love myself, and I certainly cannot accept this Light of the Christos. Indeed, it may be in the trees, in the birds, in the water and in everything in Creation, but none of those things have ever been human and done all the terrible things that we have all done as human beings.” That is what your mind may say.

Indeed, for centuries on your human plane, eons, time beyond time, this has been so. Human beings cannot believe that they are as deserving and, in fact, filled with the same Light as all you see around you. Interesting to note, is it not?

And yet, if you were to ask the Light of the Christos if you deserve this Light, that would not even be a concept that could be entertained by this beneficent energy. You see, this Light simply is. It already exists within you and it has never questioned whether you deserve it or not. It is an incomprehensible concept to this Light to wonder whether it should be within you. It cannot wonder; it can only be.

This Light is what you would call, in very limited, human terms, “unconditionally loving Light.” This is an interesting term that human beings have great difficulty accepting and understanding. Unconditionally loving Light. It is there within you. It did not evaluate or judge whether it should be within you. That is an impossible concept for this Light to entertain.

This Light is your Higher Self. All, as Jesus said, can do as he has done and assume the mantel of the Christos. All that remains is simply to accept who you are already.

You may say, “I must do something to deserve this. I must climb a certain mountain, behave in a certain way, eat certain foods, say certain prayers, scourge my being in certain ways, pay certain sums of money to some religious organization and attend it regularly…” And all of these things have been useful for human beings to choose to do. None of this can be judged.

But it is not necessary. All that is necessary is simply to say: I accept my Light. As Manalus is fond of saying, and so are the beings of Light, the truth is simple.

Yes, you have lived thousands of lifetimes and you have all done terrible things as human beings. Not only have you done terrible things, but terrible things have happened to you. You may say, “If I am this Light -- as logically you might have to concede -- why would I have chosen to do terrible things or have allowed terrible things to happen to me?” We answer with another truth that you know. You have chosen to live -- and have been given the grace to live in human form -- on a plane of freewill choice. You then, upon departure from one lifetime and before entering another lifetime, have discussed matters with your own Light, your own Higher Self. At that time you chose the karma that you believe you must perpetrate during your subsequent incarnation.

However, now we have come to an interesting time on your human plane. This is a time that some have called “the end time.” For centuries, human beings have made many dire predictions regarding such, have they not?

In truth, beloved children, we will tell you something you may wish to know: You are living in a wondrous time. It is a perfect time to heal your history. The veils are thinning between the planes and your Earth is healing itself from its history. Now you are capable of doing the same. It is easier now than ever. You can say, “I will release my history, I will open and release my karmic history.” You can let it go. You can drop it. You can heal your past. You can open and accept your Light. You can.

Remember that you can ask for help from the beings Light to do these things, if you choose. If you choose. We do not ordain or dictate these things. We cannot. All we can do is love you unconditionally. When invited into your physical being and into your heart (which is the main entry point) with great alacrity we will flood your form with Light. All that is required is that you ask for this.

We ask you, children, to be kind, to be patient and to have compassion for yourselves first and foremost. Love yourselves. Understand historically this is something you are very unaccustomed of doing. But also understand that you can do this now. You can do this now.

The Christos invited questions from the audience.

Question: How might I be aware of the presence of this Light?

Answer: It is a simple thing. In your meditation sit before a beautiful natural creation, such as a tree, and as you open your heart, the wheel of Light, see yourself entering this beautiful natural creation that you call your tree. Feel the radiance of this wondrous creation envelope you and sing to you its soothing song of love and Light. Know the same Light that fills this wondrous creation is singing and harmonizing to the essence of your being. Your Light can blend with this golden radiance. Become one, OM. Know that this is the truth of who you are as well. Your tree trusts that the soil of Mother Earth will nourish it -- just as the soil of Mother Earth nourishes you. It trusts, that the Sun and the rain will nourish it -- just as the Sun and the rain nourish you. And it trusts that it will know its seasons with wisdom and omniscience. It knows when to drop its leaves and when to let new leaves grow. Let the rhythm of the cycles fill you. Allow yourself to be One. Affirm this Light that loves you, takes care of you, and rest in this knowing.
