ENERGY BALANCING
An ancient treatment of the feet (and
hands) which has stood the test of time due to its remarkable healing and
relaxing effects.
The feet (and hands) are focal points for nerve endings and the body's
invisible energy lines (meridians). When pressure is applied to specific
points, there may be a brief sensation of pain which suggests a block in the
flow of vital energies in the energy lines feeding the areas associated with
that point.
To dissolve the energetic blocks Martin has developed advanced techniques
which are more gentle and often more efficient than the manual pressure
applied by traditional reflexologists.
Resolving a block in the flow of vital energies may have immediate effects
(such as a reduction of pain, cramping, or congestion) as well as long-term
effects through improving the body's ability to heal itself. In addition,
restoring the flow may also prevent the development of symptoms in the
future
The stimulation of specific points on
the body mostly located along meridian lines ("acupuncture without
needles"). Similar to reflexology, acupressure is used to dissolve energetic
blocks and restore balance for immediate and long-term health benefits.
Pronounced "ray-key," it is an
effective method of focusing universal healing energy to heal self or
others. Used alone or in conjunction with other techniques, Reiki can be
very beneficial for energy balancing, healing and prevention.
A sequence of movements and hand
positions on the body designed to balance the flow of the body's energetic
system. The word "polarity" refers to the use of the practitioner's hands as
two "poles" between which healing energy may flow similar to an electric
current. Martin uses Polarity often in conjunction with the other modalities
mentioned above.
