Training in Psychoenergetic Healing: Training Components

DIDACTIC COMPONENTS

We will be offering introductory and advanced seminars to teach and demonstrate the theory and practice of Psychoenergetic Healing and related topics in the area of applied metaphysics.

Furthermore, reading assignments and recommendations will provide a theoretical foundation and give all participants a common frame of reference. However, the amount of required reading will be limited, as there is little written information at this point that is absolutely essential. Of course, many fine metaphysical books have been written that may be relevant although not directly related to Psychoenergetic Healing, and we encourage our students to explore the areas they are most interested in as they see fit.

We also plan on producing audio- and/or videotapes based on seminars, live demonstrations taped during trainings, and recorded sessions with actual clients.

EXPERIENTIAL COMPONENTS

As part of our seminars, there will be guided group meditations, so that all participants can experience the flow of energies within. In addition, your personal meditation practice is an essential element of your becoming a healer.

The second experiential component is the observation of Psychoenergetic Healing performed live or on tape, either by a teacher or a healer-in-training. Following each demonstration, there will be a time for sharing and a discussion of the “technical” aspects of the healing work.

The third experiential component consists of personal healing work or self-healing. In the next chapter, we will explain some of the issues that will undoubtedly rise to the surface in the course of your development as a healer. “Walking the shaman’s path,” as the phrase goes, requires that you learn to heal your own wounds first. By doing so, you acquire the qualifications, tools, and experience that will then allow you to assist others on their own paths toward self-healing.

More advanced healers-in-training who are practicing Psychoenergetic Healing with their own clients will receive supervision or consultation. Depending on individual needs and circumstances, there will be either a formal, ongoing arrangement to provide training through supervision, or consultations as needed, regarding a specific client or challenge
